Can my customers pay with Klarna on Crate?
Yes, through Stripe, and the distinction matters. Klarna is not a separate rail you connect to Crate. It is one of the payment methods your own Stripe account can carry, and Crate offers it at checkout when Stripe reports that capability as active on your account. That means there is nothing extra to reconcile: a Klarna order is a Stripe payment, it marks the order paid, it moves the same stock, and it refunds from the Crate order like any other. If Stripe has not activated Klarna for your account, or your country or currency is outside what Stripe offers it in, the method does not appear, and Crate does not pretend otherwise.
What it does

- A Klarna order behaves as an ordinary paid order: same list, same stock, same refund.
- Stripe pays you on your normal payout schedule, not when the customer finishes paying.

Setting it up
Four steps, from a phone, in about ten minutes.
- Connect your Stripe account to Crate first, at Settings, then Payments, then Stripe.
- Enable Klarna in your Stripe dashboard for the countries and currencies you sell in.
- Wait for Stripe to report the capability as active. Crate reads it rather than assuming it.
- Place a small test order to see the method in your own checkout.
Klarna's availability, its consumer terms and its fees are set by Klarna and by Stripe. Crate adds nothing to them and decides none of them.
